Founder
I lived in Split, Croatia for a few years and got to know the Adriatic charter market from the inside, both as a sailor and just by being around it every day.
It was obvious the market was doing well. Boats were fully booked, season after season. But at the same time, almost no one outside the industry had access to it. Buying a yacht meant putting in hundreds of thousands of euros, and real estate in Croatia was getting harder to justify. I have always been into financial markets and tend to look for less obvious ways to invest. This was one of those cases where the opportunity was clearly there, just not accessible.
Yacht Fund is simply a way to open that up — giving people a chance to invest in this market starting from €10,000, without having to own and manage a yacht themselves.
